2012 Audi RS Q3 Concept

The blue painted Audi RS Q3 concept is a vehicle based on the theme of thrilling dynamic performance. Its engine, a 2.5 TFSI with 265 kW (360 hp) of power, and its body – lowered about 25 mm (0.98 inches) and widened with sharp visual details – explore the potential of the Q3 model series in a new way.

In the interior of the Audi RS Q3 concept, which gets plenty of light through a glass sunroof, cool black is the dominant color – on the roofliner, floor carpet, floor mats, leather-upholstered instrument panel and on large areas of the seat upholstery, which consists of Fine Nappa leather. Dark blue Alcantara is used as a contrasting element on the seat covers.

The extremely powerful 2.5 TFSI in the RS Q3 concept combines two classic Audi technologies – gasoline direct injection and turbocharging. From 2,480 cc of engine displacement, it generates 265 kW (360 hp) of power. The car catapults itself from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 5.2 seconds, and its propulsive force takes it to a top speed of 265 km/h (164.66 mph).

A seven-speed S tronic transfers the forces of the sonorous 2.5 TFSI to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive. Generally, it directs these forces almost exclusively to the front wheels. When slip is detected there, it can redistribute forces to the rear axle via a hydraulic multi-plate clutch with electronic control – instantaneously and variably.

The alloy wheels of the Audi RS Q3 concept continue the dynamic RS Q styling and have the dimensions 8.5 J x 20. The front surfaces are high-gloss, while the sides are sandblasted. The tire size of 255/30 is not exactly typical for an SUV, but certainly for an RS model.

2013 Toyota Camry NASCAR Revealed

2013 Toyota Camry NASCAR Revealed NASCAR Toyota Camry 1
Toyota unveiled its new Camry NASCAR racer, and as is the case with the rest of 2013 NASCAR machines, it resembles the production model. Designed and developed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD), the Camry will begin racing in America’s favorite motorsport from next season, going against rivals like Ford Fusion, Dodge Charger, and the new Chevrolet SS.
Unlike your run of the mill Camry which t best can be had with a V6, the Camry Stock Car racer features a V8 engine and it is rear-wheel-drive. Solid body panels, no doors, painted headlamps, stripped-out interior, slick tires and plexi windows are other features of the Camry NASCAR.
The decision to make the NASCAR racers look more like street versions is to increase the sport’s popularity, especially among the owners of these models. If you own a Toyota Camry you sure want this car to win, don’t you?
We’re extremely proud of the new Camry and the development of the car was truly a unique process,” said Lee White, president and general manager of TRD. “NASCAR and all four manufacturers were brought together to guide the direction of the new cars. We all worked together to put the ‘S’ back in NASCAR — we all wanted race cars that look more like our stock, production models – and together we accomplished that.  Our new Camry for 2013 is a great looking race car.  Everyone at Toyota is eager to have our drivers in a race car that more resembles the street Camry.

Renault Alpine A110-50 – Official Pictures and Details

Renault Alpine A110 50 Official Pictures and Details Renault Alpine A110 1
Earlier today we looked at some leaked pictures and then some official videos of the long-waited Renault Alpine. Now brace yourselves for the official materials. Built as a concept prototype to celebrate 50th anniversary of the original Alpine A110, this gorgeous machine is Renault’s latest attempt at making a proper sports car. They do intend to make it, but it’s a long way away from production.
Renault has tried and failed a number of times before to make a sports car worthy of competing with rivals like Porsche Boxster or Lotus Elise. This time around they decided to utilize Renault Sport’s experience in racing and making fine hot hatchbacks. They’ve got a bit carried away though, as the new Alpine is a full-on race car.
With an loud and powerful 400-hp V6 mounted in the middle, a carbon body and a tubular chassis, as well as track-spec suspension and bakes, plus an F1-style transmission and a Magnetti Marelli a long way away found only in racing cars, the Alpine A110-50 does not look at all like something you can expect to see on the streets tomorrow, or the day after that. But someday…
We should also mention the car weighs 880 kg, has a compact size (Length/width/height: 4,330mm / 1,961mm / 1,230mm) and a 30-liter fuel tank. A proper track toy in other words.
Visual features:
- the sculpted forms of its elegant, flowing bodywork, enhanced by lights over which air seems to flow effortlessly.
- the half-domed additional lamps, with a technical but nostalgic interpretation, thanks to full LED yellow lighting – as it should be!
- a characteristic 3D rear window, which reveals the mid-rear engine.
- air intakes on each side echo the ducts on the rear wheel arches of the Berlinette. The right-hand opening is for gearbox cooling, the left is for the engine bay.
Interior features:
- the driver’s seat features embroidered ‘Renault Alpine A110-50′ badging, Sabelt full harness belts and different, attractive shades of blue.
- the dashboard is particularly uncluttered. The Renault Design-created steering wheel incorporates a colour screen and houses the same technology as a Formula Renault 3.5 single-seater to provide drivers with all the information they need.
- Racing driver equipment is provided by Sabelt and the helmet is created by Ruby.

Top Car Porsche Cayenne Vantage “Lemon”

Top Car Porsche Cayenne Vantage Lemon Top Car Porsche Cayenne Vantage Lemon 1
Customers who get massive body kits for their cars usually like insane paint jobs too. Anything that gets them more attention is welcome. Now, this car here is a Porsche Cayenne sporting the Vantage II body kit from the Russian tuner TopCar. But the owner who ordered it apparently liked lemons. So he thought it’s a good idea to have the car painted like one. Good thing he didn’t like watermelons then.
As ridiculous as the idea sounds, you have to way it’s a pretty unique thing. The body is finished in a sort of lime yellow, with green detailing. The styling kit itself consists of revised bumpers, TopCar Vantage front grille, modded bonnet, side skirts, fender flares, rear diffuser as well as roof and hatch spoilers. The wheels are also painted in the same color as the body. One would imagine they’ve done something similar to the interior as well.
Check out the pictures below and fight the urge to squeeze your screen!
